Meet the Humans
-
Hi there! We are Krista & Jordan and we are so happy you stopped by!
Let’s start off with the obvious: we are dog obsessed.
Our dogs are part of our family and our current dog, Moose, is our son. So when we were planning our own wedding, we found out first-hand how challenging it was to navigate having him there for our big day. To us, watching and being with a dog for a whole day is no task, it’s a joy. But we know not everyone feels that way. So a lightblub went off in our heads and we have been full force ahead with A Furry Tail Wedding since.
We can’t wait to meet all the furry friends!

Jordan & Krista have had dogs their entire lives. Their background with dogs provide them with hands-on, real-life experiences dealing with different dog breeds from teacup to giant sized.
Their most recent experience comes from facing new challenges with their giant breed dog: Moose (Bernese Mountain Dog/Newfoundland mix), who joined their family in 2021. To understand Moose and his challenges, Krista and Jordan have attended various training courses since 2021 and are positive-reinforcement trained. They are knowledgeable on teaching practical living skills to dogs, identifying stress signs and enrichment-based activities. Together with Moose they have achieved the top results in each course they have taken.
Like our pets, our training is never-ending. We want you to know that we are committed to providing a safe, positive time for you and your pup. To do this, Krista is currently enrolled in Dog Training Foundations with the Karen Pryor Academy to become formally certified. Jordan’s certification will follow.
Our goal is to never stop learning and acquiring education & certifications so that we can ensure we are best equipped to deal with your pup. Please follow allow our journey to see updates on our next certification!
Pet first-aid certified since July 31, 2022.
